Come out and share a meal and brotherhood with the Automatic Fire Alarm Association of New Jersey. Some members have been known to meet at the bar downstairs prior to the meeting.

Our focus is on education not competition, we believe through education we can raise the level of fire protection in NJ. Thereby increasing the level of safety for our clients, increasing profits for our members and adding the level of life safety for our friends, families and neighbors.

Attendance at meetings provides you with valuable Continuing Personal Development Points (CPDs) needed for your New Jersey Fire Alarm Permit re-certification as well as maintaining your NICET Certification.

AFAA-NJ membership entitles you to one dinner at each of our general meetings.  You may bring additional people to the meeting and purchase their dinners @ $25 per person.

If you bring a potential member and that person joins AFAA-NJ, their dinner is “FREE”.

Please RSVP: Dennis <d.decarlometrofire@verizon.net973 - 429 - 4846.

 All current and new AFAANJ Committees are seeking volunteers;

We need your help, please attend a Board meeting if you are interested in serving either on the Board or a committee. Take part in our board meeting, see how your organization is run, commit to a minimal amount of time to help with committee work and the health of AFAANJ as a whole. Some committees will meet monthly, most only as needed.

    Over 92,000 people are waiting for the gift of life

    Each day, about 74 people receive organ transplants. However, 18 people die each day waiting for transplants that can’t take place because of the shortage of donated organs.

    Please decide today to make your wishes known about organ and tissue donation.

    • Your heart could beat for someone else.
    • Your lungs could breathe for someone else.
    • Your kidneys could free two people from dialysis.
    • Your liver could save the life of a patient awaiting a transplant.
    • Your corneas could give sight to two people.
    • Your bones could help repair other people's damaged joints.
    • Your skin could help heal burn victims.
